WARNING: CANCELLATION FRAUD

Just had a guest ask to cancel. I referred her to my strict cancellation policy. She then altered the booking to a shorter duration - 2 nights instead of 4. I accepted. She then immediately cancelled, so incurring half of the cancellation penalty than what was owed. So underhand. Never falling for that one again. Called airbnb - as usual totally guest-centric and could barely speak English.

It is not fraud, but "creative cancelling", always be alert on shortening requests....
