Welcoming guests with a video introduction

Welcoming guests with a video introduction

I am interested in finding ways to personalize and/or create a more engaging experience for guests upon arrival. Has anyone experimented with supplementing their welcome message with a quick welcome video or other mechanism for oreinting guests to the home upon arrival? Is there a particular value in creating some virtual connection between the host and the guests, particularly for hosts who are often not on or near the property during the period in which guests are staying at your property?

From my point of view, in case of self check in, a piece of paper with printed basic and necessary infomation  is enough.

A video can also be a good idea, if you send the video's link in advance, before the guest arrival.

Yes, there is an app called GuestHug (you can find on the app stores) that allows you to welcome your guests digitally with a video!

Interesting idea!

We leave a hand written note but a video may be appealing for some guests. For others I can see it having  a "Big Brother is watching" sort of vibe.

I would sooner get my favorite comedian to record a Cameo video welcoming my guests 🙂
