What hidden talent have you discovered from hosting?

Hello there!

For many, hosting can be a great way to learn something new. Some of these things can be difficult to learn but others, to our own surprise, it seems that we were born to do them. That hidden talent that, thanks to the work of hosting, we have discovered.

An exquisite taste to decorate, the best coffee to share with your guests, a special, extra touch with the guests… What hidden talent have you find out that you have thanks to hosting?

@Stephanie I found out that I am very good in connecting people ( Guest) to there Thai-favors. My guest give me a compliment about the place I recommend.... So I do create Experience based on that.

My hidden talent is knowing my limitations.

I cannot put plastic letters on a reader board like that.

Worse, I know after 5 days all the vowels will suddenly get lost joy-riding

Cleaning! All kinds of cleaning hacks. I hate cleaning and have a service at my own house but found that we are better cleaners than the service after turning over our cottage. I also discovered that everyone has specific things they look for which makes a property "unclean" to them even when its otherwise scrubbed and sparkling. And now I know what little, odd or hidden things to look for and get to.

I learned not to put the blue bedding in with the white sheets, and my wife learned to ban me from using the washing machine.
