What should I do?

Hi, 

I got this text message from one of my guests whom I caught breaking my house rule for no drugs. He also smoked pot on my back patio (which is attached to the second floor of my apartment.) He was staying with us for 4 days at a time for the last few weeks due to getting a new job in town but having family outside of town. When another guest told me about what he did,I contacted him via text reminding him that drugs weren't allowed on my property when he admitted to having them, smoking it, and asking to stay. As it was a violation of my house rules, I contacted airbnb, let him stay one more night, and asked him to leave. What should I do about this recent text? Thanks!

I would ignore it. Report it to Airbnb. Keep the text (don't delete it) in case something came up in the future.

You did the right thing. People who are not willing to follow the rules need to take responsibility for their actions.
