Who do I file DMCA Takedown Notice With?

Someone has copied our property photos, description and even name. I have "reported" it but no progress.

I will file a DMCA Takedown notice and wonder who at AirBnB should receive it.

I understand one would normall send to the hosting system, but, in this case, I'm sure there is a whole department.

I suspect if I send to webmaster@ it will end up in a bit bucket.

Does anyone have an email for the legal department?

It is virtually impossible to get hold of anyone at Airbnb other than by email which normally goes to a pool where no one is interested in solving the problem.

Best of luck

Are the images copied onto Airbnb site?  If so click the flag button on the host's account and here is a list of ways to contact airbnb

A tweet or FB post seems to get the quickest response.  If the images are copied to another site then that site should be the one receiving the takedown notice. Good luck!

Good show...thanks for navigation help. Found a whole section on this.

There is a copyright department!

Thanks.

Normally you send such things to a Company's registered address.

Wouldn't be quicker and easier just to call them?

Do you know after filing a DMCA Complaint to Google you may end up paying a heavy fine as a punishment?

Yes, if Google finds out that your claim is false and the website you are reporting DMCA complaint actually not republished your article or not copied complete article (Google doesn’t care if someone copied a small piece of your content).

Yes, that’s true!

So, read every paragraph properly to avoid any trouble while submitting a DMCA Takedown Complaint and you’ll also learn a few efficient methods of removing copied content without filing a DMCA Takedown complaint to Google. Get Full information: DMCA Takedown Notice

Hello ItalyPerfect

I am in your exact shoes now.

Another 'host' has copied word for word 90% of my listing.

I am wondering if filding a DMCA takedown form helped resolve your situation.

Do share please your findings and whether it is worth following this path or another ?

Many thanks

After a number of inquiries to Airbnb Support with no help at all, one person finally told me to send the DMCA Takedown notice to copyright@airbnb.com.  I did that and it took 2 months but they replied they had taken it down and it was true.
