Has Airbnb removed the facility for us to see other Host profiles? Can a moderator tell us? How are we supposed to help when we cannot see the listing?
Or is this yet another move to isolate us hosts - like removing the old community fora.
I noticed this to @Julia0 and it is quite frustrating as many solutions are solved by looking at the host's listing such as cleaning fees, extra guest fees, discounts, etc.

The answer is because airbnb doesn't give a s^%$ about us.

@Julia0, @Ephraim0, @Dave-and-Deb0 I recall that there was a posting by a site administrator acknowledging there is a bug causing the inability to see profiles. I am okay with being patient to see if or when the bug is resolved.

I hope you all had a good weekend. Thanks for mentioning me in here and for asking about this.
I know the 'View Profile' link is really important to you and other hosts here in the CC and very understandable. This feature hasn't been removed permanently, it is a temporary glitch we are experiencing so this is why you can still see the button, it is just not leading anywhere. Hopefully this will be reasurring to hear and will be resolved shortly.
I replied to a similar question on this elsewhere in the CC today, so hopefully this will help to provide a little more information on this. Presently the Community Center Tech Team are working on improvements and enhancements to certain areas of the CC, which is fantastic and exciting. However, what is not so fantastic is that as part of this, it does result in some slight distruption to features relating to these areas. I do hope this these will be very rare though and I am continuing to monitor and follow up on this so it is as limited as possible. I know this is frustrating, but please believe me we are working with the tech team to get this back up and running as soon as it is possible to do so. Plus, I hope it will be reassuring to know that in spite of this there is a good and positive reason behind why this is happening.
I will continue to keep you updated, so I hope to be able to give you some good news soon. 🙂

Aw Robin, one out of two - but hopefully two soon! In terms of Direct Messaging, thanks for updating me on how this is working for you. I have been informed by our Tech Team, that this area may be a little distrupted at times at moment due to work being carried out, this said it should still be working, so hopefully it won't cause you too much of a problem. As with the 'View Profile' link I will keep you updated as much as possible and I am hoping this will be back and running as expected over the next week or so. Do keep me posted though, as I mentioned before it is a great help. 🙂

@Lizzie The profile link is working for me as others have reported. I have to admit that I got used to using the glitch as a way to get back to the begining of the recent conversations while it wasn't working. You know about lemons and making lemonade, right?
