Why did I not get superhost status after getting all the requirements?

I lost my superhost status bc I cancelled a reservation after talking to them b/c my family wanted to visit and it was 6 weeks out--so probably wouldve been considered an extenuating circ.  However, that was LAST quarter.  This quarter I have met all the requirements yet didnt get the status in July 1.  What gives?  I was proud of that status and probably shouldnt have lost it, but now not regaining.

Does not sound like an extenuating circumstance, I thought the impact was for a year?

I am not sure but thought I read somewhere that if you cancel a reservation, you can not get super host status for a year. Maybe someone else knows how to locate the link with this information?

Indeed as @Deborah1 stated the penalty for cancellation is :

Loss of eligibility for Superhost status: You won't be eligible to earn Superhost statusfor one year after your most recent cancellation.
