I saw the channel 4 documentary and it made me very cross.  I couldn't agree more that it affects the London housing market but those hosts with multi listings of entire homes are not what the original ethos of Airbnb was.  I felt that far more should also have been shown of the single room hosts like myself and many others on this forum who just rent out a room and enjoy hosting people from all over the world.   Hosts like us are many and it is almost as if we don't exist any longer!

Of course that doesn't make such good TV!

Yes, you've hit the nail on the head there Melanie, unfortunately for us hosts that wouldn't have made such dramatic viewing.  As always the program was entirely Londoncentric, as if this is representative of ANYWHERE ELSE in the UK.
