changes to superhost

Anyone know the reason why the superhost criteria is changing?  I don't book that often on purpose, and have long bookings (month, 10 days, etc), so now i will lose superhost in april, because of this.  Seems to me that this going to be bad for those of us that don't  have 1 night minimum and are pickier about who we rent to.

any thoughts?

@David1705 The new criteria went into effect on January 1, 2019. Hosts that have more long term guests are now eligible for SuperHost status based on the number of nights they hosted when in the past, they were not. You should be able to see how you are doing under your Progress tab. The criteria are also listed there.
