compromised account?

Hi, I have been asked via email by Payoneer to set up another payment preference with airbnb as my account details are incorrect. I have been recieving payments regularly up till now and this seems to me to be an unusual request. Has anybody else come across this situation?

Hello @Sandy100,

 

I would definitely treat that as a scam, a phishing email.

As you say, there's no history of problems with your account. As that's true, this email isn't in response to one you sent to Payoneer.

As you probably, you should ignore what the email says in the "From" section as the sender can put anything they want there.

Just because it might say payoneer.com doesn't mean that it's from them.
