guest inquiry

Hello.  So I receive a msg that "Camille" is interested in some March dates. A message from her indicates she is an area photographer looking for business, not a booking, and in the meantime I get the half dozen messages from airbnb asking me to accept or decline, and why am I declining? There needs to be a better way of vetting this.   I get that "Camille" doesn't have a way to contact me other than picking some random date, but the whole thing is annoying and unnecessary. Thoughts, anyone?

@Ellen99 all you have to do is message her back to keep up your response rate. You could just send her a period: it doesn't even need to be a proper message.

That being said, you would probably be fine if you accepted the request, because they have no intention of booking with you. Just accept and choose to leave the dates open.

Accept all the way! That way you won't get a declining average on your record. Then you can report her by ticking the little flag. Won't have any effect unless there are a lot of people reporting, but you don't know how many flags she already has collected.
