I have been a traveler and now a host with Airbnb since 2014. I have spoken to countless Airbnb reps, sent emails and left online feedback. All to no avail!
Over and over again, I have spent a great deal of time in discussion with potential guests trying to decipher reservation quotes generated by Airbnb.
Hundreds and thousands of dollars are paid through Airbnb's website. Why does this company website not have an itemized list of charges for hosts to readily have access to when a reservation inquiry is being requested, when a bill is paid or available for reference after checout?
Every business that we have come in contact with gives an itemized list of charges, but for years Airbnb chooses not to comply with normal business practices.
Can someone please explain why Airbnb lacks transparency in this area?
