@Franco40 depending on your payout method it can take several days for the money to reach your account. We usually have to wait 5 working days after the guest checks in for the bank transfer to reach the bank account, and it can be delayed further by weekends, bank holidays etc etc

Okay when I used Audbnb as a traveler I was charged at time of booking and monies came out of my account same say.  Ive added a payout method but when do guests pay?  I dont see how to request.

Hello @Kim278.  Welcome to Air BNB hosting.  Your cottage is quite lovely.  It is good that you have some experience as a traveler as I am sure you will be able to relate to your guests even better.  That being said, I hope you will take time to avail yourself of all the hosting articles in the Help Center.  These articles cover payment, cancellations, refunds, damage claims, etc.  You have your place listed with Instant Book, so you need to understand how that works as well.  Also, there are great postings on this site that are beneficial as well.

As to your specific question, collected funds are released to the host 24 hours after the check in time on your home page.  Depending on what payout option you have selected, you should have the funds available at that time or a few days later.

On another note, I see that you do not have a security deposit.  This means if there is any guest damage, you will not be able to collect reimbursement unless the guest agrees to pay.  Even the best and most respectful guests can have an accident.  I recommend you add a security deposit of at least $500.  This also sends a signal to those guests that you mean business.  Some party types look for entire places with no security deposit.  Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer...

Thanks, Linda.    I will def add security deposit!  Very helpful.
