leaving guest feedback

Hello All

 

New host here...still learning the ropes on rapid learning curve but loving it!

 

So probably a stupid question...when my guest leaves, how do I leave feedback right away?  At the moment I am waiting for email prompt but would rather just get on it.  Where is the short cut for that?

 

Also, am I able to set up automated emails at booking and check out?

No, no, and no, unfortunately, @Melanie467. There is no shortcut to an early review. You do have to wait until prompted. 

You cannot set up automated emails in the system, but you can create and use saved emails. They will still need to be sent by you each time. 

With 8 rooms, that's going to be a bit of a pain, isn't it. Sorry not to have been able to say yes to something 🙂

At least I have an answer and I can stop searching!  I thought I must be a real numpky not to find it.

 

I will have a doc of standard replies for bookings and check outs.

No need for a doc of replies, unless that's your favourite way to work, @Melanie467. You can have saved replies ready to go in the system. It is a little convoluted, so here is the step-by-step. Go to your hosting inbox, pick any thread, and in the top response box you will see "Use a Saved Message". Click on that. From there you can create a message (the "Save a new message" bar) or edit an existing one. The system has a few in place for starters. Hope that helps a little.

@Melanie467  If you don't see an email prompt to review shortly after guest check-out time, you can also click on "Messages" on the top bar of your hosting account, and you might see "Leave a review for xxx" right there in the notifications.

Hi @Melanie467 - I'm an NZ based host and it seems that our links appear around 4pm each day for guests that have checked out in the morning of that day. Don't know why, but it's the same each day.  Other NZ hosts I've spoken to say the same thing.

 

PS:  Nice Hotel you have listed there.
