We left the keys inside and had to get a locksmith to break the lock and get us inside. The total cost was 1190 Euros becausei it was a security lock. I had to do this because the spare key would not open the door. Our passports were inside and it was Saturday night and Sunday mid day we were leaving Paris. The lock on the door was such that there was no handle on the outside to open without a key, eventhough the deadlock was not on. It was on the latch, but you could not open it without a key.
How can I claim to have these costs reimbursed? ANd who should I claim against, the host or airbnb?
