multiple listings - Inbox confusion

Just popped a second apartment in the same city on my airbnb host account. Noticed that when potential guests have put in an enquiry on both my properties it produces two discrete notification emails, however when I go to my host account inbox, I find a single message string associated with just the second property. There are not two discrete enquiries - one for each property. Makes it hard to manage through host inbox? Anyone experienced this?

Are you referring to the times when 1 guest puts in an inquiry for more than one of your places? We have three places and this has happened so rarely. A few times we have referred a guest to a larger or smaller unit and we've had a few guests that booked one property then come back to stay again in a different property. You are right that the messages in the inbox go by guest and not property so if you are talking to one guest about two properties they will be in one message string. Doesn't really bother me because its just so rare. And I like that all of my message history with a specific guest is contained. I wouldn't like to have multiple conversations with the same guest.
