offline ID check as mandatory prerequisite

Hi all,

I am a host and have used Airbnb as traveller as well.

When I was booking an apartment there was a prerequisite to have an offline ID check (passport photo and verification) before I could make the booking.

I very much like the idea that anyone wanting to rent my room needs to have had an offline ID check.

Does anyone know how to make this feature mandatory for my listing as well?

I think you are looking for Airbnb Verified ID. 

There is an option to require guests to verify before they can complete the booking: go here.

Anne Marie - whenever I get an inquiry or request by someone with out the verified ID I respond and let them know it is a requirement for me and tell them to go to verifications to do it.  Hope that helps.  I also feel I only want guests that are willing to do that, especially since we as hosts only have info on the guest making the reservation & not the others so I want to have as much of a verification as possible!
