promoting listing

Hi, I received an airbnb message, "promote your listing by embedding it on other websites," but when I clicked on it, it only took me back to my listing page. Am I supposed to click on something else? thanks

You can promote it by simply using the direct link:

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/18568016

Or you can use "badges", giving you a string of html-code to include in a website.

It is more dynamic, as it also shows some reviews etc...

They can be found in your account (choose : account settings, then choose from the menu on the left: badges)

The link wasn't there for you to click on to help you promote it. They gave you the link to your own listing because you're supposed to copy and paste it onto other websites, like Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, etc.
