"We're" instead of "I'm"

We run our AIRBNB rental  as a couple, and we see that many others do too.  Further, we see that most of our customers are couples too and  yet the AIRBNB website can't seem to use the correct syntax.  So Ours, for example says "Hey, I'm Tom & Lisa, when it sould say WE'RE Tom & Lisa.  Since we're not super hosts yet, getting a line of communication with someone at AIRBNB is seemingly impossible.  (Typical corporate website, where it takes an act of congress to find a way to email someone or find a phone number)Anybody have AIRBNB's ear and ability to get them to change this glaring irregularity?

Good point! Maybe if they can't change the prefix, the greeting could be left as a simple ''Hey,'' (fill in blank). The ''Hey'' is probably meant as an informality to put guests at ease, if they left that out as well I would personally aim for ''Hello, I/m...'' Someone else would say Hola, Nihao, Hej, Ciao, whatever suits which is a nice international feel to an international site. ''Hey'' feels quite American to me, which is of course fine as we are on an American site.

Maybe a rewording is on the cards? I am sure Air monitors the forum for the good and the bad, so there's a suggestion for you.

Thank you.  I love the AIRBNB site for a multitude or reasons, but they sure are slow to correct some of this kind of stuff.  Hopefully they will see this.

The easiest way to communicate with Airbnb is via their Facebook page or direct message on Twitter. They always respond pretty quickly.

I'm (we're* - ha!) having the same issue! Did you ever hear anything back from Airbnb? We've just signed up and I was hoping to change the 'I'm' to 'We're'. Thanks so much!

No response from Airbnb  😞
