Hi Hosts,

Is there anyone out there who knows about offering an airbnb that only has a twin bed?  We are fixing up a 2nd Airbnb on our property and are wondering if we will get any or less requests from travelers if this new room can only sleep (1) person.

Thanks!

For an adult it is difficult to sleep on a twin.

Thanks, i've decided i would greatly limit our booking requests.

@Cheryl41  I have two rooms for a single party.  One room has a queen bed and one room has 2  extra long twin beds.  When I had only the single room with a queen bed, only singles or couples could book.  Now two non-romantic singles can book or parents with an older child can book or two couples can book.  This was a value add move on my part as there is more competition. Two extra long twin beds is the same as a king size bed.  If you are offering a twin, I suggest it be extra long, so an adult would be more comfortable.

We have 2 single beds so it can be booked for 1 person or 2 friends/kids or we can join them together for a couple. They are standard size 90cm x 200cm.

I would suggest you to buy box bed or some bed with no side wooden board so you can join them together without a gap in the middle. If you know what I mean

Until now nobody ever complaint against lenght or disconfort or anything like that. We hosted people from all over the world. But, ok, if you host mostly Americans I can understand your concern... they are very spoiled 🙂
