verification

I require a drivers license to be posted as a verification. Is that truly necessary if the guest has a nmber of other verifications listed? Any input would be helpful. Thanks

I have encountered some very nice reviewed guests who had never done dl until they booked my place.  Here are some factors I have considered with my keeping this requirement:

-I live in a HOA that is not totally on board with the idea of Airbnb, so as a nod to them I keep it on.

-I live in the home I rent.

-I only charge about $40 a night, and probably wouldn't be able to raise my rates.  This isn't the Hamptons, it's a suburb of the largest city in Idaho.  Most people are just passing through for a night.

-I'm pretty new as a host.

I could imagine scenarios where I wouldn't care as much about the govt ID verification.  But, for now I am keeping it.
