when two people share a room what do you charge

I have a guest staying for 22days at the single person rate.  Her partner is wanting to join her and stay for a further 30 days.  Would you charge double the rate?  An extra 10%?   Nothing?   or have you come to other arrangements.  I look forward to your comments.

I have charged $5 - $8 more per night for an additional person to cover additional breakfast costs, laundry, wear and tear.

Since I only rent short stays (less than a week) I don't show a discount for longer stays in my listing.  You would probably want to apply any long - term rent discount if you use one to the additional persons charge just as you would for the initial rental.

I would charge 20% more for the extra guest.

I charge $20/person extra per day. And use the discount for long term
