Accepting but not charging a relative

I have a request for a one night stay from the daughter-in-law of my co-host. I would like to not charge her. Is there anyway I can do that and not violate any AirBnB rules?

Block the date on your calendar manually and let her stay for free. No need to have Airbnb involved

@Douglas478 you can send a cheap special offer. Airbnb will however delete any review she may leave as it will look as if you are 'buying' good reviews.

Alternatively just block the night on Airbnb and deal with her direct.

Why would you not want to charge her. Surely you have costs involved such as cleaning, toiletries, welcome gifts that you provide.

Probably easiest for you to take this as a direct booking and charge her a lower rate @Douglas478

Hi @Douglas478

What a lovely thing to do!

Did you find the help from our Hosts useful in figuring out the best way to do this?
