Airbnb doesn't support its hosts

Below is a notice I sent to Airbnb.  I've finally had it with their lack if support for hosts.  I encourage you to drop airbnb too.  Use other platforms like VRBO instead.

 

I wrote:

 

"I have blocked my calendars in protest and I will no longer accept new bookings after the stay of my last booked guest next month. I am not likely to list my rentals again on airbnb because airbnb has proven time and time again that it will not support hosts when guests lie in their reviews. I cannot continue to be part of any organization that cares so little about me, when I try so hard to represent airbnb well. Too often I am given misleading or conflicting information by airbnb employees. This power to affect my business is in the hands of imbecils and incompetents.
Airbnb's unfair policies combined with terrible customer service from the ambassadors is to blame for this loss of all future revenue from my properties. Additionally, I will tell everyone I know about this terrible company and encourage them to use other platforms who compete with airbnb.

 

But, I doubt that you really care.

Get your rentals off of the airbnb platform!  They do not treat you fairly.

Sorry you feel this way hope you can sort it out,

 

I will not be supporting your lone crusade against a multi billion $$$$$$ company,

For me and many others Airbnb has been brilliant and allowed us to generate an income for many years,

As for delisting from Airbnb we have no other options, Airbnb has been and still is the best platform out there, bar none,

Yes, I am listed on them but here in Asia the others dont work,

Problems we have had I feel Airbnb has supported me in a timely manner.

One we had a few months ago with some nasty guest, Airbnb backed me up and booted them out, Nice one Airbnb.

You sound naive.  One day, you will also be in a situation such as mine and airbnb will fail you too .  I wish you well.

Go ahead, continue to attack me for standing up for hosts.  Go ahead you ignorant fool.  Take the side of your overlords.  You will be in exactly the same situation as I am one day when you grow up.

I've noticed that this conversation has become a bit personal.

 

While we always allow criticism of the platform, it's important that we all remain respectful towards each other, but I feel this thread has gone off-topic and doesn't benefit the community, so I've decided to close it.
