Is anyone else having issues on this website? I use my credit cards all over the world, all of a sudden on Airbnb. I cannot use my credit cards, I couldn't use PayPal, or I couldn't use Google pay, I'm getting messages like error with Android, or "this payment method Braintree Paypal cannot be used to complete this payment. Please use a credit card or debit card instead."
I spoke to customer service for a half hour and they said they need to go and get back to me, I am growing frustrated with this app after they also added the recent payment verification app which I can't remember the name of right now. Anyway, is blowing my mind that I cannot spend money with multiple forms of payments here. Anyone else having issues?
Hi @Joe464 , are you still facing this "payment declined" issue?
Please keep us posted if you heard back from the Customer Support team or needed any additional support!
Regards,
digital platforms are changing how financial systems connect across countries. sometimes payment errors aren’t about the card itself but how global verification works between services. modern fintech tools focus on simplifying these checks and keeping transactions secure without delays
Fintechs must comply with legislation, many are not Compliant, nor fit for purpose.
Some think it's as easy as setting up an intermediary account and making a quick buck with Service Fees alas there's a vast number of Regulations to comply with.
Be careful who you may choose to partner up with.
Are they located in your own country?
Do full background checks, including with Company Office websites, check there backgrounds and media coverage, including all named people associated with them.
Do Due Diligence because some are getting caught up with for Money Laundering themselves and other compliance related matters
