Angry Neighbours

Angry Neighbours

What should you do if neighbours are annoyed at your guests - surely they should understand that my guests are on holidays - want to relax, play loud music, have late nights chatting outside loudly on the verandah. Even having parties although completely against the house rules.

Just because it is a quite residential area surely doesn't give them any rights to ask my guests to be quiet.

My guests are paying me alot of money - surely the neighbours just have to suck it in.

If this is a serious question...

How would you or your guests feel if the situation is reversed and it was the neighbours making the noise and you had to suck it in.

Good luck as a host.

Clearly a wind up ... they aren't a host @Craig-and-Lynne0

Actually I am a neighbour and that's how the "host" next door treats us.  What can I do as a neighbour in a very quiet residential area of Sydney where the host doesn't give a rats.  What can I do to not have noisy guests every weekend.  It seems airbnb only care about the hosts and guests ... I guess that's how they get their enormous fees.

What did your local authority say when you put in noise and anti social complaints @Sarah6616

what did they say when you contacted the short term rentals team who regulate listings in your area.
