Kia ora all. It’s my understanding that Airbnb should automatically share the arrival guide with guest 48hours before they arrive. This doesn’t seem to be happening in about 50% of the cases lately and I’m getting harried messages from people wanting info. Am I missing something?

Hi @Annabel444 👋
I just wanted to pop by and thank you for sharing this with us. This is a known bug and the team are working on a fix. 😊
It’s important that guests have a seamless experience no matter what device they are using. It’s a bit annoying to have to relay the arrival guide info via messages. Not terribly professional looking.
Hello @Annabel444 ,
Please do not count on Airbnb to communicate well with guests on your behalf. Expect the contrary.
You should have a scheduled message sent preferably the day before check-in with everything guests need to know, exactly as you want it communicated.
Even more important is a scheduled message the day before checkout explaining how you expect the property to be left, where the bins are, and most importantly why 5 stars is the default expectation and not a reward for an exceptional stay.
Perfect your scheduled messages!
Thanks Guy. Good to know it’s not just me. I really think the Airbnb experience should be seamless for guests and hosts alike no matter what device you’re using. It’s unprofessional to have to apologise for Airbnb.
Regardless, I do it manually a few days ahead of arrival. This is so important, it bears my personal attention.
