Just had an unreal guest experience...soooo bad and fear leaving a review but want to warn others
@Neshira0 Please be honest in your public review to warn other hosts. Be calm & objective, don't write assumptions about the guest's character or personality, or it could be removed for defamation, but DO write what they did wrong ... - No details re body fluids either, could be removed for being too personal, but you are allowed to use phrases like 'required considerably extra laundering' or 'took ten times longer than usual to clean.'
Why not post a draft review here, then others can advise re anything not clear or not allowed?
@Neshira0 Why do you fear leaving a review? Is the guest local and you feel they might physically retaliate? What happened? The only way to warn other hosts is to leave an honest review. Posting about the guest here doesn't do any good, as the odds are that no host seeing it on this forum would ever get a booking request from this particuar guest.
Please tell us why you are fearful of leaving a review, and like Helen said, maybe post a draft review here. (If you post on the Host Circle section of this forum, it's more private- no guests can access that section, only hosts- the Help and Hosting sections are available for anyone with an account to read, hosts or guests.)
@Neshira0 I agree with all the above suggestions. Just to add: an honest review is not only important to warn other hosts; it also bolsters your case in the event of a later dispute and lessens strengthens your side of the story if the guest reviews you badly.
Please leave an honest review. I've been burned before because previous hosts in my area gave two of my worst and truly horrific guests "glowing" reviews. It's aggravating and annoying to other hosts, and it's unsafe!
