Best payment method for remittance

Hello, what bank do you recommend for accepting payments with a high exchange rate and fast, hassle-free remittance? Thank you!

Hi @Giselle216 !

Airbnb payouts are already converted to pesos at the time of processing, so we don’t have the option to choose a payout method that offers a higher exchange rate.

Personally, I prefer receiving payouts directly to my bank either UnionBank, BDO, or PSBank. The funds usually arrive within 2-3 days after check-in, and so far, I’ve never had any issues.

If you’re looking for a fast and hassle-free option, I’d recommend choosing any local bank. Hope this helps! 😊

How about BPI?

BPI should work fine too. BPI was the first banking method we used before until we switched to Unionbank. 😊

Hello @Mia1090 ,

I have been adding my BPI account and it will get processed then I will get an email from Airbnb saying that the payout has been released but after a few days when I check my Airbnb account it will show that the payout method is invalid. DO you know what could cause this to happen? Have been removing and adding my account but the same thing happens. I have reached out to BPI and they said nothing is wrong with my accounts and that I should be able to receive payments without issues. I have reached out to Airbnb but they aren't very helpful. 😞
