I have had two bookers this week start haggling and waste my time getting them special offers and they go silent and ignore message. Is there any way you can mark booking enquiries down?
Hello @Anne16946
Yep, been there! As a new host, this is a right of passage it would seem - we get time wasters, hagglers and people trying to get us off platform! You can flag guests who are abusive towards you, yes got one of those in my early days and block them so that they can't then send you a trip request and in the link below, you'll see how to handle enquiries versus an actual trip request.
Luckily, these requests tend to come via an enquiry rather than through a trip request but only send a special offer and or approve a guest if you are sure you want them to stay.

There seems to be a general consensus here amongst fellow hosts, that those who start haggling aren't going to be the best guests anyway and if you are just starting out, you need to get 5* reviews so no regrets if these two don't get back to you Anne.
You can though make sure though that you are correctly priced for your area and amenities provided by checking out the competition!
All the best

Hi @Anne16946 😊,
I’m sorry this happened to you.
I’m glad Joelle shared some great advice. Have you been able to take a look at it?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I don't accept guests who want to haggle on price @Anne16946 I just suggest they use the search function on Airbnb to set a budget then they can find properties within their budget.
