Booking request asking for contact information

Someone from Ecuador with no prior verifications asked me for my direct contact number for his visa application 3 weeks from requested reservation date, which is probably isn’t enough time to get a visa. Can i trust this and give him my contact info?

Remind the guest your contact number is only shared when there is a confirmed booking in place @Sasha211

And for a confirmed booking, Airbnb generates an automatic letter for visa purposes. It’s in the reservation details.
