I have been a host for 3 years now and have been using ElektraWeb as a property management system aswell. At some points this has been very inconvenient and I am having issues with both parts bouncing responsibility regarding who has what power.
I am using a Strict rate plan which means that guests after some point can't cancel or make changes on their reservation. They have to contact me and get help, and this is where we get stuck. Sometimes guests have some emergency and need help with a date change or cancellation but the system won't allow me since I am connected to a property management system (ElektraWeb). ElektraWeb aswell has no power in altering with the AirBnb reservations, since AirBnb is still the owner of the reservation. Plenty of times I have contacted AirBnb support regarding this matter but I just keep getting the same copy-paste answers that I have to do it through ElektraWeb. But it is simple, I can't!
Does anyone else have a problem like this and have they found any solutions to this mess? I just really want to be kind and help out my guests.
