Last month Airbnb sent out an email about the new “Extended Cancellation Option” they would be offering to guests where they have the option to pay a fee which allows them to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund overriding the host’s cancellation policy and the host would still receive their original payment if they cancelled. The information from Airbnb said that hosts would be told if the guest had purchased this option. I was wondering if anyone has had a guest purchase this and if so, where was it revealed that they had done so? Where on the reservation details was it listed? I’m asking because either none of my guests have purchased this yet, or I have just not looked at the correct place to see that they have. Thanks!
