False Review

Hi Everyone


I’m reaching out to request help escalating an issue related to a false 1-star review on my listing.

 

A recent guest overstayed by 2.5 hours past checkout without notifying us or checking out on time. When we informed him about our clearly stated late checkout policy, he became upset and later left a 1-star review containing a false statement — claiming that we “made him pay for insurance,” which never happened.

 

I contacted Airbnb Support multiple times and followed all the proper procedures to dispute the review. I specifically referenced Airbnb’s review policy stating that reviews containing inaccurate or false statements about a host should be removed.

 

While the support team agreed that the review includes a false accusation, they said they were unable to remove it, and could not explain why the “specialized team” made that decision.

 

I genuinely believe this is an oversight and that my case deserves a second review. Could someone please flag or escalate my case internally so it can be reviewed again by the appropriate team?
