Guest needs a place in Hillsboro, OR

Hi folks- I had a rare double booking last night and the guest who had to cancel is looking for a place for two adults and two small dogs.  It needs to be a home, since the dogs bark as anyone passes by.  They were at $110/night for tonight and tomorrow night.  If anyone can help, it would greatly be appreciated.  BTW, it was a VRBO booking and either they or Guesty didn't catch it.  A bit of extra work and customer service triage, so I appreciate the opportunity to reach out to the community for help.  Thanks in advance!  I'll connect them with you directly, if you can help out.

If you want to find accommodation for the guests you have doubled booked use the search function on VRBO and other platforms to find availability if the booking costs more you would need to cover the difference @W-M-4 

what's your liability on VRBO if you accept a booking and then can't accommodate the guest?

They found another place on their own.  I use Guesty as a channel manager and it seems that they and VRBO didn't catch the sequence of the reservations.  They were about 10 minutes apart and VRBO even showed a conflict on their calendar.  Yet it still happened.  I'm assisting the guest with getting a full refund with VRBO, whose customer service reps are usually helpful, but in this case are very slow.  Regardless, I'll see it through for them and perhaps help a guest become a future guest.
