Normally I would say there is no harm in giving someone who is new to the platform a chance. I've done this and have had great experiences and hopefully they have too. They will have to verify their identity to book, so that should not be an issue.
However, I would say 9 people with the first time Airbnb user booking is strife for problems and no Airbnb will not cover whatever issues you have. If there is a part, you will probably be on your own and deal with the bad review that comes after that etc. You will have to file claims for any damages that might happen and it's a toss up whether you will be reimbursed or not.
Also, I notice your listing limit is 9 people, when that is the case, there is also a chance there are actually more people in the group, but they are booking for 9.
Anyway, it might very well be a great group of people who are just doing this for the first time, but I personally would not take the risk with such a big group. One, two or even three, you can take a chance, but 9, seems daunting to me.
Let us know what you end up doing.
P.S. your home is beautiful!
