HELP! Tenants host a hundred-person+party in my home

Help! Plagued with well over 100+ under aged teenagers that blocked our street denying Residents access to our homes.
They were all INSIDE MY PROPERTY!!!! Apparently, my home was being used for a party of large magnitude where an entrance fee was charged at the front door! When the guest contacted me, he told me that I needed a place to rest when I came to Los Angeles for business.

When I arrived, the scene was almost out of control and I couldn't get into my house at all.

I didn't sleep all night and kept in touch with Airbnb and the police. But Airbnb disappointed me very much, shirk their responsibility, they can do nothing, they can only let the guests stay in my home and destroy my house.

I still evicted the tenant myself, but the house was badly damaged and a lot of garbage,hemp.....Terrible!

Finally, I expelled the tenants. After entering the house, the house has been seriously damaged. The house is full of garbage and marijuana…… terror!

So far Airbnb has not dealt with anything for me, they will only say that there is no law enforcement power, so social media claims that it will evict party tenants, safety first ... it is all deceiving.

Friends with relevant experience or relevant laws, can you tell me if I can get all property claims and moral compensation?

Many thanks!

Sorry to hear about this situation and that Airbnb incredibly wouldn't cancel the guests booking when you demonstrated that guest were partying at your place.

Hopefully your police report, photos and videos will help provide evidence for your claim for damages.

Not sure what you mean by 'moral' compensation, but you can put in a claim for damages through the Airbnb Guarantee (see Airbnb Help centre for more info) @Elena2678

You can also put in a claim on your home insurance which covers STRs.

I want to claim spiritual compensation. From 2/2 to now, I have not slept, I ca n’t fall asleep, my heart is hurt, and my spirit is broken. I have been asking for help, contacting the police, and contacting Airbnb, but Airbnb has not given me any help. If it weren't for my children, I would have liked to fight those bad tenants, because no one helped me

@Elena2678  So sorry this happened to you 😞 We CANNOT, as hosts, rely on or trust ABB for protection of any sort. It’s vital that we put all possible guards in place to PREVENT these things from happening in the first place. it would be VERY nice if ABB would give us more leeway and tools to make the job easier, but the raw reality is, we have to deal with things the way they are, or just move off the platform.  File a police report, take detailed photos of the wreckage, and submit a claim under the host guarantee. You will need to provide original receipts for damaged items, and receipts/estimates for restoration, so don’t do the cleanup yourself...hire a cleaning crew. There is no guarantee they will compensate you, but the more thorough your documents, and the more persistent you are, the better your odds of success. Best of luck.

Thank you very much, I went through a disaster and now I can only cheer up as much as possible. I was severely frightened, my heart broke down, I couldn't fall asleep, and I didn't have an appetite. It was terrible. I am worried that I will not get my due compensation. Airbnb has disabled the guest account, and I can only upload videos and photos through customer service. I have been in contact with Airbnb since morning, but have not received a response so far. Thank you again, please teach me more precautions for claiming compensation, I hope my compensation can go smoothly.

Go to the press this happened to us a while back and AirBnb wouldn't help one bit. Not one bit. They get really involved when the press hears about it. If you know the school all the college take it to the schoold or college also.

Your advice is very good. These children are too crazy. They need alcohol, marijuana, and drugs. They should need education. But I don't know which media can accept the exposure of the incident, can you tell me?
