HELP unsanitary and roach infection

Hello this is my first time using Airbnb. I have made a reservation and I’m currently staying at the property. I originally made the reservation to stay here for a month. However, I arrived two nights ago, and since then have been trying to get a refund or at least have one of the multitude of issues fixed. The host refuses to allow me to adjust AC to my liking. I am the only one who is at the property and I have messaged her over five times regarding this issue and every time I ask her to change the AC whether it’s just to turn it on in general or to lower it she turns it off and makes it even hotter in here on purpose. we are located in Florida where during the day it is over 100° and so humid it’s on  unbearable even being outside and it’s not any better inside the property. I offered to pay extra just to have the AC on to my desired temperature. I have reached out to Airbnb support, and there has been no adjustments whatsoever. One of the other large issues is the fact that there is an insect and roach infestation. We have aI offered to pay extra just to have the AC on to my desired temperature. We have lost all of our groceries due to this. They are in our personal belongings now I have taken pictures and uploaded them to Support and send them to the host and she denies that there is ever been an issue with either of these things. I don’t know what to do at this point because I’m supposed to be here for a month and I can’t even Stand going to the bathroom without being afraid that there’s gonna be a cockroach jumping out on me. Between the AC not being turned on, no Wi-Fi other than what I had to pay for it separately, and the cockroach infestation I do not feel safe in these conditions, nor comfortable whatsoever and I’m not sure what the normal policy and procedures are to do when something like this happens if somebody could please reach out and let me know what I should do for this situation I would greatly appreciate it

Hi @Ava991, Hope you are doing well! It has been a while since you posted about your stay, and hope you have heard back from the Support team in the meantime. How did this turn out for you in the end?
