Have you ever left a 5 star review and the guest don’t even leave a review?

Have you ever left a 5 star review and the guest don’t even leave a review?

Have you left guest a review only to know that they didn’t leave you any. What do you think could be some of the reasons?

1) Maybe they are a private person and do not want their names/pictures/comments on anywhere.

2)They May not be someone who know how to express themselves by writing a review.

3) They just don’t understand that reviews help both the guest and the host.

What are some reasons you think?

Multiple guests this year didn’t leave a review despite asking in checkout instructions, one week reminder, and 2 week reminder right before the 14day limit. No idea why.

Number of guests are not aware of the importance of reviews to Hosts and themselves. I guess we as hosts have duty to educate our guests of the significance of leaving a review. Although it might sound awkward sometimes

Yes, that's quite normal.

Some guests are just tired to review everything and everywhere.

@Karissa31  I was astonished at the length of time that it took to enter a review from the guest's side of the AirBnB review function.  Multiple pages and options to complete, scrolling from subject to subject.  I understand now why some guests do not like to complete the process, and do not worry about a guest who does not review.

The sad thing is that you may get more reviews from guests who have complaints.  While those may be useful as a learning function (guests keep asking for certain things) it means that we risk lower numbers and losing the superhost designation.
