Host demanding extra payment

I rented a room in a house for month. And there is around 20’F at nights outside. So in the 2nd day I asked about extra blankets, because host gave me really tiny one. She said that it’s not cold. There were another blankets in other empty rooms, but she said I can’t use them. So 10 days ago I raised a house temperature from 68 to 70. And now she want to take 100$ from me  for electricity. Plus I am here until tomorrow, but she turned off wifi and almost threw up my toothbrush and other things! I don’t have to pay it, right? For me it’s super rude.  +I saw a mouse in the house 2days ago and when I said it she told me that she didn't see any mouse poops or holes, where it can live, like I am lying

I am sorry the host has not been more helpful. When you booked the listing what sort of linen did it show the host providing for the beds @Мөнхжин0 

 

She may not be able to provide blankets from other beds, but should have spares she can let you have.

 

She can't impose electricity charges on you for a 2 degree increase in temperature.

 

Contact Airbnb and ask for their advice about the electricity, missing wifi etc.

She may not be able to provide blankets from other beds, but should have spares she can let you have.

 

She can't impose electricity charges on you for a 2 degree increase in temperature.

 

Contact Airbnb and ask for their advice about the electricity, missing wifi etc.

@Мөнхжин0 , so sorry to hear you are having issues with your host over such small things. Just because the host is not cold, doesn't mean the guests will feel the same. Shame on her for not realizing that. She should have extra blankets throughout the house. As for the electricity charges, unless it is in the House Rules when you booked that you will be charged more for amounts over $XXX she cannot charge you now. Not to mention that a 2 degree increase shouldn't cost that much extra. If it does, she needs to look at her heating system. As for the mouse, depending on where you are, that may be a common occurrence. if you only saw one and there is not evidence of it being in the foodstuffs or your belongings, it will probably not be an issue. However, the host should take you seriously and act accordingly. It could be call out the exterminator, set traps, etc. But to imply you are lying, not cool. Stay on top of ABB Customer Service.
