16 stays hosting for 2 months, I am confused that seems excellent for a new listing. How many were you expecting? Are you near a high tourist traffic area? I couldn't tell by your reviews why your listing fit a Guest's plans. That information would help because different target markets generate different traffic for a listing.
Hello @Richa3827, Welcome to our community! We’re glad to see your first post 😊
I’ve added a photo and the link to your listing to your post so it can get more attention from our hosts. I also noticed you have the Guest Favorite badge, congratulations on that! How long have you had this badge?
I’m also reaching out to some hosts here to see if they’d like to share their suggestions: @Bec3748 @David13337 @Ryan4241 and @Alex14140
Regards,
Hi mam,
Thanks for ur valuable words and I have badge around more than 1 month. 😊
@Richa3827 , you have achieved top 10% of homes, guest favorite and 17 reviews in two months! It does depend on location and type of offering but I think you cannot do much better than that at this point. One suggestion for your photos would be to improve a bit lighting because at the moment some photos look quite dark rather than warm and cozy.
Hi @Richa3827 … congrats on a strong start to your listing. That is great to see. Really, the listing isn’t about fixing something broken. It’s more about refining and deciding what you want to optimise: occupancy or income.
A few thoughts that might help:
1. Photos – quality over quantity
You have some lovely images, but there are multiple angles of the same rooms. I’d reduce the total number. Lead with a bright, natural daylight shot rather than the blue-lit evening shots. The coloured lighting creates a vibe, but it can narrow your audience subconsciously. Clean, neutral images tend to convert better across a wider market.
A little visual decluttering (fewer cushions, fewer decorative groupings) would also make the space feel larger and more premium in photos.
2. Tighten the description
The tone is warm, but it would benefit from a more polished and confident opening paragraph. Fewer emojis, consistent capitalisation and clearer structure will instantly elevate perceived quality.
Instead of welcoming ‘everyone’ try positioning clearly:
Is this best for couples? Small families? Business travellers?
When the ideal guest feels directly spoken to, bookings often increase.
3. Highlight what makes you different
You mention a pool and self check-in, which are both strong advantages. If the pool is rare in your area, bring that forward more prominently in the description and photo order.
4. Consider add-ons for income growth
If you’re already booking well, you may not need more occupancy — you may want higher revenue per stay.
Simple add-ons could work beautifully:
•Romantic décor setup
•Celebration package (cake + simple decorations)
•Premium tea or breakfast tray on the balcony
•Late checkout option
These don’t require more nights booked, just better yield per guest.
5. Decide your strategy
If you want higher occupancy: adjust pricing slightly below close competitors and reduce minimum stays.
If you want higher income: refine the visuals, polish the copy, and price confidently.
You’re not struggling, just in price optimisation mode. That’s a great place to be 🙂
