Is it slow for everyone during winter?

I’m wondering if there are tips to boost bookings during the winter months

It wasn't that slow last year. It's been very slow this winter.

Gotten the same feedback from other hosts in my area as well.
I hope it picks up soon!

thanks a lot

Hello @Simi617!

I'm sorry to read that you are having low occupancy at the moment. But don't worry, you are in the perfect place to change this situation since there are a lot of members willing to help people like you with their experience. I'm going to tag a few of them if that's okay with everyone: @Dr-Jayanthi1@Laurelle3@Guy991 and @Kitty-and-Creek0

Thanks everyone in advance! 🤗

Hi there,

Winter is the good season here in Florida! Summers are very slow.

Every region has its slow seasons I guess. When I was hosting in LA I used to get consistent bookings throughout the year, but not in Florida and especially not on boats where I am currently hosting.

Hope this helps and hope you stay patient.

Rose.

Yeah I think it’s definitely slow season here in New Brunswick.

Thanks Rose, much appreciated!

Winter is a slow time due to the usual volatility of weather, unless of course, you are located at a ski resort or a winter retreat such as Florida or the Caribbean!

It is also a slow time economically, after the holidays, paying property taxes and insurance, and anticipating income tax.

If we follow the real-estate market, nothing is selling until Spring, so all of a sudden there is a wave of new listingsNothing personal - Just how it is with consumer behavior!

Thanks for this valuable insight!
