It uswd to say "your guest has left you a review"

What does it mean when you get an email from airbnb Saying that "your guest is waiting on your review" before the 14 day review period is over? Does that mean that the guest has already left you A review? or is airbnb simply asking you to review them? In the past I used to get an email saying, "your guest has left you a review." Which let me know that yes, in fact, they did leave me a review.

If you are seeing "your guest is waiting for a review" this is Airbnb encouraging you to leave a review for the guest before the 14 day times out.  Go to the Today tab and you'll see that this "task" is waiting to be completed and how many days you have left to review them

If your guest has reviewed you, you will receive that all important email telling you that they have left you a review.  If you haven't reviewed them yet then the star award won't show up.  The notification that the guest has left you a review will also show up on the "Today" tab.  

Please note that even if you have reviewed them, they have reviewed you, this notification will stay for weeks on the Today tab!
