Kansas City, MO Occupancy Taxes

Hi all, 

i have been a Superhost for awhile now. Recently the city of Kansas City started collecting the occupancy taxes that Airbnb collects from guests. However when filing my taxes the city said Airbnb does not remit collected from guests to them and I need to pay the taxes out of pocket. Is anyone having the same issue? Please advise.
