Language detection

Hi everyone,

 

I'm a new host on AirBnB and recently found the automated messaging feature.

 

I found it very useful because you can configure the message in different languages. At first, I believed that if I configured 2 languages, the platform would detect which language would be the most appropriate for my guest (French / English).

 

Then I realized that all of my automated messages were being sent to my guest (in French and English) and that the platform was not detecting my guest's default language.

 

My question is: is there any feature or configuration we can use for language detection on the AirBnB platform directly or this is only available with an app like ''Your Porter''.

Hi @PascaleandMathieu0 thanks for your question! There's no way today to automatically match the guest's language using the new Scheduled Messaging feature.

Please know we've heard this request from others as well, and will consider it for the future.
