I have several "Listing Issues" with the "Needs Attention" flag. Some of the issues were actual problems, like the guest found the home to not be cleaned to their satisfaction or something that can be addressed, repaired, and shown to airbnb that it was resolved. I have others that are complete fabrications or the guest made a false statement to get out of a booking. For example: guest arrived, reported to Airbnb, not us, that the home smelled like cigarette smoke, was given a full refund and assistance with a new rental. We inspected the home after they checked out. NO CIGARETTE SMOKE could be detected. Myself, the owner, a cleaner with a good noise, no smoke smell. Even though there was on smoke damage we paid the cleaner extra to clean for smoke damage, sent that recepte to Airbnb to refute the review. Guest left a 1 star for cleaning, 5 for everything else. Airbnb would not remove it because it reflected the guest true "feelings" at the time. I've exhausted my 2 appiels. That was in June, we have had hundreds of nights rented since then with ZERO complaints for smoke smell. 95% 5 stars and still there is a "Needs Attention" issue for smoke smell in the home. I have called several time to ask 'how do I get this removed?" No one knows. I only get customer service going around in circles reading there script with no answers. I have a few other examples like this. All I'm asking for is a process to "complete" these issues and the removal of the Needs Attention flag.
