We made a reservation in Illinois and paid a 50% deposit and was told that the other 50% would be taken 3 days before check-in.
Meanwhile our cc information changed and we have changed it in our account.
My questions are:
- Will the other 50% be charged on the new card, or will airbnb try to charge on the old one (which expired upon validating the new one)?
- What if it doesn't charge properly? Will airbnb send us an email and give us an opportunity to change it?
- Should we contact the host or airbnb if it doesn't charge and let them know the situation?
