Misleading info on guest’s profile

Hi everybody!  Thanks in advance to anyone who wants to chime in on this. 
Has anyone encountered this :

guest’s profile says “ also a host” but the guest either says “I’m not a host, never was one”

                          OR

guest has only “applied “ to be a host; has never actually hosted anyone

My concern with this sort of misinformation has to do with the trust factor.

Yes, the information isn’t always reliable. I recently had a guest who claimed in her profile to live in one country, but we later discovered it wasn’t true. While her location didn’t matter to me, as you wisely pointed out, it immediately broke the trust between us.

@Taizz0  It will not show up on a profile that someone is also a host unless they have published a listing at some point.

you can of course see  if they are a current host by checking out listings on their profile. 

it's not misinformation.
