How to go from 0% listings to 100% listings? Where to promote your Airbnb for bookings?

Hi! Newbie here...gosh....so much to learn...
I keep getting messages to add an iron. I wish I could, but I have a tiny cabin and have no where
to put an ironing board! I DO have a clothes steamer in a box with instructions under the bathroom sink.
There is no clothes steamer listed in the amenities. Who irons anymore? I also have a dryer with a "fluff" cycle.
I think irons are a bit dangerous, especially if someone decided to iron on a bed or couch. Where should I
put the fact that I have a steamer in my listing so people will understand they don't have to attend the wedding up
the road looking like they slept in their clothes?!
Cheers!
Julie
@Jules155 Just a suggestion . . . I have one of these $10 tabletop irons boards in each of my tiny apartments. It either hang in the closet or sits in a draw.
Thank you! I still don't think I would have room for that unless I put it under the bed.
I don't even have closets. Just a very small dresser and wall hooks for hangers.
My cabin is only 399 sq feet. But I will look into this... 🙂
You could mention the steamer in your description, @Jules155 . That's where I put my "extras" -- amenities that don't have a tick-box.
Don't stress about those "Add an iron!", "Add a TV!", "Set up a laptop-friendly workspace!" prompts or whatever you are being nagged with. You know your listing best. If it is a good suggestion, go with it. If it doesn't work, just ignore it. I do, and nothing awful has happened. 🙂
Thanks! And omg...your tree house! I LOVE it! oh...that book on the shelf...how to S in the woods!!!
I needed that laugh! 🙂
@Jules155 You are talking about computer bot messages from Airbnb saying you should list an iron? Ignore it.
I have about 8 of those Airbnb messages prodding to do this or that, none of which I have any intention of doing or providing.
Yes, you are correct, many hosts have had guests burn things with irons. If you list a tiny cabin, you probably aren't getting the type of business travelers who would need to iron all their clothes to be professionally presentable.
The only people I know who iron on a regular basis are my nurse friends who iron their uniforms.
