I have had an advert for our house in Brasil for many years on Airbnb and it function well.
we have 2 bank accounts in Brasilian bank Banco Do Brasil and I have a 50% split to receive
our rental payments. It have work perfect all these years until a few weeks ago.then I was
informed by Airbnb that there is a problem with one account. Their local contact in Brasil
can not pay into that account. It is not possible for me to solve this as I live in Norway and
our house is in Brasil
However,I have another bank account in the bank ITAU so I thought I can add that account.
BUT (and this is strangle ) Brasil is NOT in the list of countries were we can set up account details. Surely this must be a computer error on the Airbnb site.
I started to ask for help 31st of august, but I get no specific reply to my question about this
Any other house owners in Brasil with a simular problem ?

No, Karen, my problem was not solved. I'm using paypal to receive from airbnb and from paypal I'm able to transfer to my account.
In my case the issue is due my very long name (43 characters).
But I read about issues adding a Brazilian account if your profile has a non Brazilian primary address.
I have the same problem !!! Im living in Brazil . My country of residence is here .. and can´t add Brazil in the country list . How we can manage ?

there is only one way to sort this out. You have to contact Airbnb helpdesk and change your adress to residence in Brasil. Then Brasil will show up on the country list and you can add a bank account

Im having the same probkem, 3 months since I started with this issue , a lit if calls, tgey even gave me 17brl as comoensation 2 months ago for my troubles, but I still cant add my bb account as brasil its not in the list. I keep calling and nothing. Im having a breakdown. Did you sort it out?

After changing your personal information, did they automatically deleted upcoming payouts and upcoming reservations ? Also, now there is only "Brazil" as a payout method or do you have other choices of country too?
